Wayne Millner Signed AUTO GPC dated 1934 Pre-Rookie Pro Football HOF

Wayne Vernal Millner was a two-time Notre Dame All-American and the hero of the famous Ohio State upset in 1935. He was a fierce competitor who was at his best in crucial games. He caught 55-yardand 78-yard TD passes in the 1937 NFL championship. He starred on four Redskins divisional title teams and was the top Redskin receiver at retirement with 124 catches. His career was interrupted by Navy service. He was a player-coach in his final 1945 season. He died on November 19, 1976 at the age of 63.

Offered is a signed gpc (Government postcard) that he wrote a short note and signed his name in black steel tipped pen. Postmarked from South Bend, Indiana on November 30, 1934 when he was a Junior at Notre Dame.
