Wilbur Wright Signed AUTO check Aviation Pioneer Kitty Hawk JSA LOA

Wilbur Wright (April 16, 1867 – May 30, 1912) was an American aviation pioneer who, along with his brother Orville Wright, achieved the first powered, sustained, and controlled airplane flight on December 17, 1903. Born near Millville, Indiana, Wilbur initially pursued a career in printing but later opened a bicycle repair and sales shop with Orville2. Their interest in flight was sparked by a toy helicopter given to them by their father, and they conducted extensive research and experiments, culminating in their historic flight at Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Wilbur continued to contribute to aviation advancements until his death in 1912.

Offered is a signed check dated December 27, 1904 for $18.58 made out to Frank B Hale (who lived adjacent to the Wright Brothers shop and later became the Mayor of Dayton.  He was closely associated with the family and helped their legacy live on)
