Being inducted into Canton is an honor that is not bestowed upon most NFL athletes. However, players like Deacon Jones separated themselves from the pack and went down in history as greats. Deacon Jones is considered one of the best defensive ends to ever step foot on the field. Having coined the term "sack", Deacon was able to bring down the quarterback 194.5 times over the course of his storied career. This is the personal Pro Hall Of Fame sports coat from the personal collection of NFL legend Deacon Jones. Inside tag reads, “Tailored by Palm Beach.”
This may have been the jacket that he wore during his 1980 induction.
