Emmitt Smith is considered one of the greatest running backs in NFL history. In his 15 years in the NFL, he rushed for 18,355 yards, scored 164 rushing TDs, won 3 Super Bowl Championships, was selected for eight 8 Pro Bowls, and has been enshrined into both the Pro and College Football Hall of Fames.
Offered are Emmit’s Reebok cleats that he wore during practices for the 1996 Pro Bowl in Hawaii. He wore turf shoes for the actual game as the game is played on astro-turf. Both shoes have been signed in a faded blue sharpie pen and have his #22 on the cleat. This lot comes with two pictures taken by the photographer who obtained these cleats directly from Emmitt. Emmitt did cut off the straps on each shoe after these pics were taken, so the straps in the photos have been cut off the actual shoes.
