Charlie Grimm (D. 1983) As a manager for the Cubs, he led the team to National League championships in 1932, 1935 and 1945. He was a finalist for the Baseball HOF in 2009.
Charlie Grimm boldly signed on the SS of an OAL (MacPhail). The ball displays some use characteristic of those used in batting practice. But the stampings remain strong and the crisp, blue sharpie signature rates a “10”. Grimm is often mentioned for the hall of fame. This is the first single of him we have offered in years and it’s a beauty!
