Johnny Blood McNally (D. 1985) was a professional football player and coach and arguably one of the greatest and most colorful players pro football history. He played for the Milwaukee Badgers, Duluth Eskimos, Pottsville Maroons, Packers, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Buffalo Tigers. Notably, he helped lead the Packers to four championships in 1929, 1930, 1931, and 1936. He also coached for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Kenosha Cardinals, and St Johns. He’s a member of the NFL and Packers HOF.
Offered is a government postcard formerly of the Duke Moran collection. McNally signed the gpc (with some toning to the card) in dark pencil. He wrote, “Hi Duke! You know how to get the job done. John Blood McNally.”
