1934 Philadelphia Phillies Team Signed Baseball with Hack Wilson JSA LOA

Offered is an official National League John Heydler black and red stitched baseball.  22 autographs adorn this sphere signed in steel tipped fountain pen.  Highlights include: Si Johnson, Hans Lobert, Jimmy Wilson, Dolph Camilli, Dick Bartell, Ethan Allen, Cy Moore, and Curt Davis.

However, what makes this ball very special (and fortunately, one of the darkest signatures on the ball) is that of the very tough Hack Wilson (D. 1948).  Hack was one of the top hitters of his era. While many of the top slugging records have been shattered in recent years, Wilson's incredible accomplishment of 190 RBI in 1930 continues to stand the test of time. He was elected to the Baseball HOF in 1979.

In 1934, Hack was picked up by Brooklyn, but he didn’t make it through the season and was released on August 9th.  Hack managed to hook on with the Philadelphia Phillies for seven more games. On August 25, 1934, he appeared in his last major-league game, singling in two runs as a pinch-hitter. He was on the roster for 7 games before his Major League career abruptly ended.

The likelihood of finding another 1934 Phillies team signed baseball with Hack’s signature are most likely slim and next to none!

Ultra-rare team signed baseball for the Hall of Fame collector or the Phillies fan who thought they had everything!
