1947 Jackie Robinson at Spring Training in Cuba Original TYPE II photo

This 8x10 photo was taken during spring training for the Brooklyn Dodgers in February of 1947 by famous photographer, Barney Stein in Havana, Cuba. It depicts Jackie Robinson looking through the Dodgers roster while still wearing his Montreal Royals uniform. Little did the world know; Jackie would make the Brooklyn Dodgers club a few weeks later.  About 6 weeks later, Jackie would change the world and Major League baseball forever becoming the first man to break the color barrier in Major League Baseball. This is one of the most important images of Robinson ever taken.
