9/10/ 1955 Milwaukee Braves vs Pittsburgh Pirates Full Ticket Eddie Mathews HR #149 & 150 PSA 5

On September 10, 1955, the Milwaukee Braves beat the Pittsburgh Pirates in front of 11,071 fans at County Stadium.  Ray Crone took his record to 10-9, while Vern Law reached the same stat at 10-9.

Rookie sensation, Roberto Clemente went 1 for 4, but he made the most of that one hit with a a triple that brought in a run and and RBI.  Frank Thomas had a solo Home Run in the 2nd inning off Chet Nichols.

2nd year future Hall of Famer, Hank Aaron went 2 for 4 with one walk and one strikeout.  Eddie Mathews had his 37th and 38th Home Run of the season for career HR’s of 149 & 150. Chuck Tanner also hit a home run for the Braves.
