Ronald Reagan Multi-Signed 1967 Major League All-Star Game Baseball & Koufax Perfect No-Hitter - JSA LOA

1967 was the considered the “Summer of Love,” but in Anaheim, California; the Angels were hosting their very first Major League All-Star game.  This Spalding Official National League (Warren Giles) baseball has been signed and inscribed in blue, red and black ink pen by (12) attendees of the 1967 All-Star Game including Ronald Reagan, Sandy Koufax, Harmon Killebrew, Mickey Mantle, Walter Alston, Don Drysdale (who personalized the ball and most likely signed the ball at the same time as Koufax did in 1965), Gene Autry, Willie Mays, Lou Burdette, Bill Rigney, Jimmy Piersall, Dean Chance.

Interestingly enough, under Sandy Koufax’s signature there is an inscription 9/9/65 no hitter #4 Perfect game which leads us to believe that this ball may have been used in the 1965 No-Hitter Perfect game and then was later signed at the All-Star Game.  Also note, Drysdale signed in the same pen as Koufax and personalized the ball to Dorella. So we believe that Koufax and Drysdale signed the ball in 1965 after the perfect game and then the recipient brought the ball down to Anaheim for the 1967 All-Star game and had the additional signers added to the ball.
