1933 Goudey R319 #146 Walter Lefty Stewart (D.1974) Signed PSA/DNA

Walter “Lefty” Stewart (D.1974) was a pitcher who played all or part of ten seasons in the big leagues between 1921-1935.  He played for the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Browns, Washington Senators, and Cleveland Indians.  He is perhaps best known for giving up one of Babe Ruth’s 60 Home Runs during the 1927 season.  He also started in the 1933 World Series in a loss against the New York Giants.

Offered is a primo exmpale of Walter Stewart  the Washington Senators from the classic 1933 Goudey series, authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA.  Signed across the front in black steel tipped pen.  Condition of the card is Vg.  Would make a nice addition to any signed Goudey autographed set.
