Babe Ruth Original Late 1940s 8x10 TYPE 1 Photo Equitable Life Insurance

Starting in the 1920s, Babe Ruth reportedly began to sink half of his Yankees salary into insurance annuities.  This began his long relationship with the Equitable Life Insurance Society of the United States.  In fact, the company even made him their spokesperson during his Yankees heyday.

Offered is an original 8x10 matte finish photograph of Babe Ruth in the late 1940’s shaking hands with an older gentleman, while the man to his right is holding a check from the Equitable Life Insurance Society of the United States. One of a kind rare shot of the most famous Baseball player to ever grace the planet.
