George Preston Marshall Pro Football HOF Signed Album Page w/ 1955 Washington Redskins PSA/DNA LOA

Offered is a 4.5” x 6” pink album page signed on both sides by the 1955 Washington Redskins with 11 Autographs featuring:

George Preston Marshall (D. 1969) one of the charter members of the Pro FB HOF. George Preston Marshall. . .Acquired Boston franchise, 1932. . .Moved team to Washington, 1937. . .Flamboyant, controversial, innovative master showman. . .Pioneered gala halftime pageants, organized first team band. . . Sponsored progressive rule changes, splitting NFL into two divisions with title playoff, 1933. . .Produced six division, two NFL titles in 1936-1945 period. We offer a typed letter signed on Washington Redskins letterhead from 1957 to sportswriter, Murray Olderman. He writes about Congress getting involved with the players’ association and all the problems that could arise by having a player’s association. Nice content referring to the Owners vs. the players (on a side note, the NFLPA was established in 1956, but not recognized by the NFL as a bargaining agency until 1968). How times have changed. He is one of the TOUGHEST Pro FB HOF autographs to obtain. Usually you'll find his signature in a check cut format with tape on it and occasionally on a letter.

Additionally, this has been signed by Joe Tereshinski, Norb Hecker, Rob Goode, Marv Berschet, Dick Alban, John Barish (draft pick in 1955 NFL draft), Leo Elter, Ralph Guglielmi, Tom Louderback (draft pick in 1955 NFL draft), and Vic Janowicz (Heisman Trophy winner and two sport athlete – he also played MLB for the Pirates).
